The internship is carried out with the aim of improving the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of graduates of the Abuali ibni Sino TSMU or other medical universities, increasing their readiness for independent professional activity in their chosen specialty.

Internship is a compulsory form of professional training for persons who have mastered educational programs of higher medical education. The term of study in the internship is 11 months, the form of study is full-time. Graduates who graduated from the university with honors, who enter the clinical residency, are exempted from the internship.

The training of interns is carried out according to an individual plan, which is developed by the appointed leaders in accordance with the state requirements for postgraduate vocational education, the curriculum and the program developed by the medical university. The individual training plan must be approved by the head of the educational institution or structural unit no later than one month from the date of enrollment in the internship.

The implementation of the individual curriculum and training program is reflected in the intern’s diary, which is analyzed weekly and signed by the intern’s head. The list of related specialties and disciplines compulsory for studying by an intern is provided by the training program.
