1. MD eligibility criteria for Tajik National

Applicants who are citizen of Republic of Tajikistan and Russia and graduated from the school of the Republic of Tajikistan enter to ATSMU only through the National Testing Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The list of documents for admission process in ATSMU

• Personal application of applicant to the name of rector with indication of the faculty and language details (in which group you will study: Tajik, Russian)
• Certificate of completion of the general educational school (the original one)
• Medical certificate of medical health, absence of HIV/ AIDS virus, with official registration issued by the official health authority of Republic of Tajikistan (the original one is required)

2. Dual citizenship eligibility criteria for MD in ATSMU

Applicants who have dual citizenship (Russian-Tajik) but who graduated from the school on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan cannot enter to the group of foreign students. They need to enter to ATSMU only through the National Testing Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

3. Eligibility criteria for MBBS/MD in Tajikistan (FOR PAKISTANI STUDENTS)

• Matric / O-Level (Result Card / Certificate)
• FSc / A-level (Pre-Medical – Result Card / Certificate) – 60% Marks
• Valid Passport
• 10 Pictures (white background)
• All documents must be attested by Ministry of foreign affairs and IBCC Pakistan.
• Medical certificate

Admission Letter within 3 working days & Visa Invitation within 10 working Days.                                      

4. Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in Tajikistan (FOR INDIAN STUDENTS)

National Medical Commission (NMC) clears the confusion for the NEET exam

NMC has cleared the clouds of confusion for the medical aspirants. The students were confused and worried about the fact if they will have to sit for the NEET exam even if they wish to go for MBBS in abroad. Now the NMC has made it clear that a student going for MBBS in Abroad will also have to clear the NEET exam with 50 and 40 percentiles for general and reserved categories respectively. This latest update will come into play May 01, 2019 onwards.

Getting admission in MBBS or any other medical course in a medical university in Tajikistan is very simple. The student must fulfill the following criteria:

• The candidate must secure 50% marks in their 12th standard from science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in CBSE / ISC or any other Equivalent Board of Examination.
• NEET Qualification Scorecard
• Valid Passport
• Photographs (white background)
• Medical certificate

Admission Letter within 3 working days & Visa Invitation within 10 working Days.                        

5. To transfer a student from another college/university to the ATSMU

Applicant must provide the following documents:

1. Academic reference (Transcript)
2. The order to switch from course to course
3. High school certificate
4. Agreement of the rector of the university where the student studied.
5. Order of enrollment for the first year
6. A copy of the test book (Record Book)

Invitation for Visa support

• After acceptance of the application by the rector, the department of international relations undertakes to send an invitation after receiving Payment for invitation.
• On the basis of this invitation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic of Tajikistan and their representatives in foreign countries (the Embassy of Republic of Tajikistan) obtain the entry visa for foreign citizens to Tajikistan after necessary payment.
• Foreign students can also get visa on arrival at Dushanbe international airport for period of 1-3 month according to payment.
• On the basis of bilateral intergovernmental agreement on visa-free entry to Tajikistan, the citizens of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan has free entry regime.

Registration with Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan

According to the law, within 3 days after entry into the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan (except off days), foreign students have to bring all the documents to the Department of International Relations of the University in order to submit to the appropriate authorities. The department carries out activities related to the registration of foreign citizens in the Migration Service department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Registration fee for 1–3-month amount USD 20 approximately.

Visa Extension for period 1 year

foreign students have to bring all the documents to the Department of International Relations of the University in order to submit to the appropriate authorities. To renew the visa, you have to present your documents 25 days before the expiration of the previous visa.

The department carries out activities related to the registration of foreign citizens and the extension of visas for 1 year.

Following documents are required:

1. Copy of passport
2. 2 photos (5×6 cm)
3. 2 copies of the registration card (Form 16)
4. Certificate of absence of HIV / AIDS
5. Copy of the student card (in color format) – to extend the visa
6. Copy of the record book (in color format) – to extend the visa
7. Copy of the order of enrollment to the university (in color format), and a copy of document of the transfer from course to course
8. A copy of the agreement between the university and a foreign citizen.
9. payment amount USD 160 to ATSMU visa department for visa extension and Police registration every year.
